9. Do they swear? Do they remember their first swear word?
the household ze grew up in discouraged swearing, so Vela didn’t actually start swearing until ze left, but you’d never know it now. ze can get frustrated easily and mostly just deals with it by swearing at everything. first swear word? probably calling a contact who tried to sell zir out to the police a son of a bitch.
10. What lie do they most frequently remember telling? Does it haunt them?
zir job is basically Lying For Fun And Profit, so Vela doesn’t tend to feel too guilty about lying in general. but very few people know the truth about zir family, and lying about zir origins is one of very few lies that makes zir nervous, because ze has to put in constant effort to maintain it.
11. How do they cope with confusion (seek clarification, pretend they understand, etc)?
if having someone repeat/re-explain it three times doesn’t work, then it’s time to just pretend ze gets it and fuck around and find out. ze doesn’t have a lot of patience lol.
